In the 'Gathering of the Clans' forum will be located the subforums of the individual clans. There were only three such rooms for quite awhile. Now there are more. The MacTavishes haven't been granted one.
I would hate for this to be because we have a hut. I got the hut going while we waited for the 'Gathering of the Clans' (deadline for 'founding clans') is to occur on November 1.
The blog format of hut is for entertainment of members of all clans, and anyone else who's interested. I haven't advertised it publicly, just invited people to it individually. I don't think I was using it to advertise our clan, just create a 'real' experience to those that bothered to come and have a look.
The blog format of the Hearth will best be used over time as an archive for clan stuff, as well as for the more lengthy discourses we might want to vent over time.
The blog format is very much not as good as a forum for group considerations. That is why I'd love our own subforum.
Just thought I'd let you all know this before I had off to talk to an administrator.
